SIR Phase II covers 50.99 crore electors in 12 States/UTs

ECI ordered Phase II of the SIR on 27 October 2025 in nine states and three UTs. Its daily bulletin lists 50,99,72,687 electors on the rolls as of 27 October 2025 across these 12 States/UTs, with Uttar Pradesh the largest at 15.44 crore.

Rajasthan's figure includes 193-Anta, where enumeration was deferred for a bye-election; the Rajasthan CEO's own baseline excluding Anta is 5,46,56,215. DH (8 Jan 2026) used a Phase II baseline of 50.96 crore; PTI (11 Apr 2026) used 50.99 crore.
