Bihar final roll: about 7.42 crore electors, 47 lakh fewer than June

ECI published Bihar's final roll on 30 September 2025. Its outcome table: 7.89 crore on 24 June, 65 lakh removed at the draft stage, 7.24 crore in the draft, 3.66 lakh ineligible names removed from the draft, 21.53 lakh added through Form 6, and about 7.42 crore in the final roll. The election schedule note of 6 October gives the exact final count as 7,41,92,357 general electors plus 1,63,619 service voters.

The net-fall figure is our subtraction of two ECI numbers. ECI's 30 September table rounds to the nearest lakh.
