Goa final roll published without 97 voters EROs had found eligible

Goa's final SIR roll was published on 21 February 2026 without 97 electors whom EROs had found eligible after hearings under the court-ordered procedure. The Goa CEO's office wrote eight times between 11 and 17 February to the Commission, addressed to Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Gyanesh Bharti and copied to DG (IT) Seema Khanna, asking for a rollback function in ECINET. On 18 February Deputy Election Commissioner Sanjay Kumar wrote to the DG (IT) that the IT system could not block action required by the Supreme Court's directions.
