CEC Rajiv Kumar says Goel's personal space should be respected

Asked at the Lok Sabha schedule press conference why Goel resigned, CEC Rajiv Kumar did not give a reason, said Goel had been a distinguished colleague and that personal space should be respected, and said dissent within the Commission is encouraged.

ET reports speculation that Goel left over differences with the CEC; the CEC did not address it directly.
