Speaker and RS Chairman refuse to admit notice to remove CEC

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan each refused to admit the notices under Section 3 of the Judges (Inquiry) Act, 1968. The bulletins cited a 'careful and objective assessment' but, The Wire reported, gave no reasons; Indian Express later reported they had said the allegations lacked the proof needed for a prima facie case.

Parliamentary bulletins were not opened directly. TMC MPs Sagarika Ghose and Derek O'Brien criticised the absence of reasons.
