Not in the SIR orders in the record. PTI (11 Apr 2026) described a planned Phase III including Jammu and Kashmir; the ECI order of 14 May 2026 does not list it (sir-rules-phase3-order).
Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray demanded that Gyanesh Kumar be sacked and jailed, thanked Sandhu and Joshi, and sought fresh ballot-paper elections in Maharashtra, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. He cited the net addition of 40.8 lakh electors in Maharashtra between the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly polls, which the Commission has said was not abnormal.
