Hours after the report, Rahul Gandhi posted on X that vote theft was a crime against Indians and a direct attack on the Constitution, and that the BJP, RSS and Commission who organised it had committed treason. The Congress called the CEC the Prime Minister's puppet.
The BJP and the Commission have rejected the vote-theft allegations, per the report.
