Gyanesh Kumar takes charge as 26th CEC; Vivek Joshi as EC

Gyanesh Kumar assumed charge as Chief Election Commissioner at Nirvachan Sadan, succeeding Rajiv Kumar, who retired on 18 February. Vivek Joshi, a 1989-batch Haryana cadre IAS officer, took charge as Election Commissioner the same day.
