West Bengal CEO Manoj Agarwal said about 37 lakh adjudication cases had been disposed of by 705 judicial officers by 27 March, under Calcutta High Court monitoring. The CEO's office said the first supplementary list (23 March) covered nearly 29 lakh cases and 8 lakh more followed in the second. Unnamed sources told the paper that around 3 lakh names were rejected out of the first 10 lakh cases adjudicated.
The report notes ECI had not disclosed total deletions across the two supplementary lists at that point.
