Assam had a Special Revision rather than an SIR. Its draft of 27 December 2025 listed 2,52,01,624 voters; the final roll of 10 February 2026 listed 2,49,58,139, with 2,43,485 names dropped in between. ECI's election note gives the same final count plus 63,269 service voters.
Assam is excluded from SIR tallies here and in most press tallies. The pre-revision Assam roll size was not found in an opened source. Only the final count and service voters are documented (ECI note of 15 March 2026); the draft figure and the 2,43,485 drop are from Akashvani quoting the CEO.
