Andaman & Nicobar draft removes about 64,000, a fifth of the roll
About 64,000 of 3.1 lakh electors (20.62%) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands were removed from the draft roll. By our comparison of Deccan Herald's state figures, this was the highest share among Phase II States/UTs (Uttar Pradesh was next at 18.7%).
The Andaman & Nicobar CEO press note and the UT's final-roll figures were not found.
