In an eight-page letter to Kharge, backed by 1,642 pages of replies from the Haryana CEO and returning officers, the Commission categorically rejected the Congress complaints. It said battery status has no bearing on vote counting, that Congress agents were present at every stage, and that 19 petitions did not say when a 99% reading was seen. It urged the party to avoid frivolous doubts that could cause unrest.
Congress's reply calling the tone condescending and saying legal action was its only option was seen in a search listing (Swarajya) but not opened.
