Sunil Arora becomes the 23rd Chief Election Commissioner

Sunil Arora took charge as the 23rd CEC after O.P. Rawat demitted office on 1 Dec 2018, following the convention of elevating the senior Election Commissioner. He would lead the Commission through the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
